Q Is silicone an environmentally friendly material?

Food-grade silicone is significantly more environmentally responsible than most plastics. It is durable (10–20 year lifespan), free of BPA and microplastics, temperature-stable without degradation, and recyclable through specialist facilities. Choosing silicone products over single-use plastics meaningfully reduces plastic waste over the product's lifetime.
Q What AQL standard does Mitour Silicone use for finished goods inspection?

A

Mitour Silicone applies AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) 2.5 as our standard sampling level for finished goods inspection. Higher AQL stringency (AQL 1.0) can be applied for critical or high-value orders upon buyer request.
Q Does Mitour Silicone allow third-party factory inspections?

A

Yes. Mitour Silicone welcomes buyer-arranged third-party factory audits and pre-shipment inspections by agencies including SGS, Intertek, and Bureau Veritas. We have successfully passed Disney FAMA, Walmart, and Target supplier audits.
Q What quality standards does Mitour Silicone follow?

A

Mitour Silicone follows ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards and applies FDA, LFGB, ROHS, and EN 71 product safety standards across relevant product categories. All material batches are tested by SGS or Intertek before entering production.
Q Is Mitour Silicone a Walmart approved supplier?

A

Yes. Mitour Silicone was approved as a Walmart supplier in April 2019 and as a Target supplier in December 2019. We have maintained these approvals continuously since. We also passed the Disney factory audit in 2022.

Our minimum order quantity (MOQ) starts at 300 units for custom silicone products. We also provide pre-production samples and can work with buyers on phased ordering plans.
